QUESTION

what to do?

Asked on Sep 21st, 2021 on Social Security - Ohio
More details to this question:
I talk at high risk of loosing everything, I have no choice. I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) and over the past 20 years I have seen just about every dermatologist in Ohio and this has led to one doctor who I now fear don’t want to see me, over the past 6 months and after numerus attempts, hang-ups, I have been unable to get a appointment but rather I have been placed on some kind of waiting list. I am on Social Security Disability, and I depend on medical bandages for my HS, If I lose the doctor, I lose my medical bandages that he prescribes. Every month I half to contact a medical facility to re-order my medical bandages, they ask if I have seen the doctor as a requirement made by Social Security, If I tell them no I don’t get my medical bandages. I’m stuck.

I suggest you start looking around for another dermatologist.  Reach out to your PCP, or even a local hospital for referrals if you cannot otherwise find someone.
