More details to this question:
I got injury on ship while on duty. I suffer from a bulge disc annular tear and a mild thecal sac compression.

Are you in the military, or was this a commercial ship? If it is in the military, I have no idea what to do. If it was a commercial ship, the case is called Jones Act. You need a lawyer that specializes in those cases.
