I have a question about filing a suit against a local hospital

I had been diagnosed with a medical condition that requires a series of annual test to be placed on a donors list. I completed the list of test and tried to contact my hospital coordinator to let them know that I had completed all of the requirements to be placed on the waiting list for a donor. Despite multiple various attempts to contact the coordinator and left several messages. My calls were never returned and neither was my faxed information to there office confirmed that they were in receipt of it. I paid out thousands of dollars in medical fees and found out this past Mondaythat all of my medical records had been purged. I was not on the list awaiting donors and the coordinators were no longer working for the hospital. Now all of the test are no good and have to be repeated because a year has expired. I am now out of several thousand dollars for absolutely nothing due to no contact from their office to describe what I had to do wihin the years time to get on the list. Can you he
