who is responsible for getting my car fixed?

More details to this question:
we were in accident and my car was rear-ended by 18 wheeler. we got an attorney. her office assistant tells me that we are to go to our insurance company to get our car fixed. my insurance company tells us the at fault party is responsible and since we have an attorney she is to take care of making sure the other guy's insurance takes care of our car damage. I am trying to talked to her about this I cant get any response from her its been two weeks. what should I do? I need my car fixed!!!

I recommend you discuss this with your attorney more in depth.   Your attorney should be able to explain to you in depth why they are not handling the property damage side of your case.  It might be that your attorney only agreed to assist you with your medical/personal injury damages and not the property damage aspect.  This is fairly normal but you should seek more clarification from your attorney.  Best of luck!
