I drive a 1986 Truck and was rear ended at a red light. After 22 days of waiting for State Farm to get a hold of their insured (the person who rear ended me) I was finally able to see an insurance adjuster who said I had about $800 worth of frame damage and it could be fixed. I went to many different shops in the area for the repair and all said it could not be done either because of the age of the vehicle or because the damage was too much on the frame and not repairable. I was given one quote for the repair which would have been for a complete frame swap totaling $3400, but they are not even sure if they would do it. What if anything can I do since their driver was deemed at fault. I have damage to my vehicle that I am being told to just leave it alone or do it myself by the State Farm agent? Thanks for any help you be able to give
If u have suffered any injuries from your rear end accident then you should seek medical attention and hire counsel on contingency fee. Most counsel will handle the property damage issues on a complimentary basis.
