QUESTION

Truck was repossessed. His financial institution is claiming he didn't have insurance for a period of time which is false.

More details to this question:
GTE financial put additional insurance on the truck, did not notify us until they claimed he was 3 months past due. He has paid every payment. He got a DUI so his insurance dropped him and he had to get a short term insurance coverage plan for 2-3 months and then move forward with SR-44. We faxed over all declaration pages that were needed to prove he always had insurance. We were not notified of any issues, we were told after sending dec pages in that everything was fine. We have all documentation showing he has paid $300 a month and all insurance dec pages to prove the timeline of his insurance. We cannot even get the truck out off the lot. We called GTE and they have not returned our phone calls.

There is something missing here as it makes little sense that a lender repossess a vehicle or obtain forced coverage when there was no lapse in coverage and any change in converage was timely provided to them. You probably need to hire a lawyer at this point, at some expense, to address this and do so immediately.
