my house was damaged during my neighbor's house fire. They do not want to pay for the damage

More details to this question:
my house is a duplex, the common wall and the attic was involved. My house was condemned. I would like them to buy my house and pay for the contains. they are only willing to pay to raise of the house

If you have your own insurance to cover this claim you should first proceed through your own carrier.  Then, if you do not I would suggest contacting an attorney who handles property damages claims.  Generally, a personal injury lawyer can do that.  He/she can review the claim and determine your rights.
