Since you ended up getting the amount you and the insurance company had agreed to, I would leave it at that. It is likely that the amount that was on the release was just a typo or they forgot to add your amount and the amount that was on there was from another person. I think that since you agreed on the original amount and that is what you received, that should be sufficient. I do not think you would be successful in suing over the difference. You could try to work with the insurance company to see if you could come to some type of agreement, but I do not think that you would be successful in a court of law because you and the insurance company had already reached an agreement over the amount, and that is the amount you were provided.
