More details to this question:
Life of Georgia insurance paid the claim. Company sold out to Jackson national I took over my mother's family policy on my oldest brother. I have been paying that policy since April,2001 until Dec.2012. My brother died on Dec.20,2012 and Jackson has denied the claim . They sent me a form which I filled out and returned to them. They said my mother was still the deneficiary ; I sent them her death cert. as well as my birthcert. and my brother 's death cert. showing I had to bury both of them. Please tell me what can i do to make this company to pay the policy that i have paid in for 12 years? This is a very sad and heart breaking thing to deal with when you have to find ways to bury your love ones when you thought you had insurance all these years.Had to take a loan from a service that charged interest and work with the furn.home to bury my brother on the 29 th Dec. Thank you for any help given.

Insurance company can't pay if you are not beneficiary. You should open up a probate estate for your mother and if appropriate make insurance claim as PR of her estate. Creditors and other heirs/beneficiaries may have claims but the matter will be resolved in probate. You should seek legal representation.   Charles Sanford
