QUESTION

How can I sue a bodyshop for not fixing my car properly?

Asked on Jul 05th, 2024 on Insurance - Florida
More details to this question:
I was in a car accident on April 2024. I was not at fault and the other person’s insurance decided to cover the expense to fix my car. I picked a bodyshop that did crappy work. The adjuster emailed me the estimate he send the bodyshop. The estimate has a list of things for the bodyshop to fix. When I got ma car back I realized that the hood of my car was not fixed properly. I spoke to the bodyshop about the incident and they said that they could not fix my car proper because were damages from previous car accident. I took my car to a different bodyshop, the one who previously fixed my car and he confirmed that he fixed my car properly. He looked at the estimate and said that there are several pieces missing, old parts that have not been replaced and the car was not aligned properly. I do not want to take my car to the same bodyshop because they have lied several times. I tried to get an attorney to represent my case but because I was not injured, attorneys decided not to take the case.

If you do not have injuries, it will be very challenging to find counsel to accept your auto accident case.
