Can Workmans Comp stop you from seeing occupational therapy notes?

More details to this question:
I am seeing an occupational therapist for an accident at work. Today, I asked if I could see my notes and she told me that she can't based on workmans comp saying shes not allowed to share them. My surgeon has never told me this before & has given me a file. Is this normal?

You will have to ask a WC lawyer - but its common that psych type records are NOT shared with patients for clinical reasons.
