More details to this question:
ex has custody. had an old order in new york. we both moved to Florida. old order was not active because we both had agreement. now after many years not in agreement. old order was brought from NY to Florida. How do i get it enacted or get it enforced

You must go through a process of "registering" or "domesticating" the NY order. In the process it becomes a Florida Order and can be enforced.
