If I plea the fifth can I also plea the fifth for my 4yr old?

You probably cannot plead the 5th amendment as testifying against your husband will likely not subject you to criminal charges. I dont know CA law, but in PA you may be able to refuse to testify, unless the judge decides to hold you in contempt of court, which is rarely done. You cannot keep your child from testifying to domestic violence in most states under their different versions of the Child Protective Services Act. You need to talk to a local CA lawyer
