The company states they are accredited with the BBB which they are not, they have advised me that they will not pay for a new stove and the check they sent me to return my deposit for repairs is not valid because they put two different amounts on the check.
You will probably be able to find relief under the Virginia Consumer Protection Act.
The Act allows for a variety of things, but especially relevant to you is the ability to bring a suit against the offending company for the damage caused by their actions. If you prevail, you will also be able to petition the court for attorney's fees. That provision will help you find an attorney to take your case, even though the damages at issue are only the cost of a stove.
