How do you go about appealing a judges ruling?

I am looking for a lawyer on behalf of my son who is incarcerated unjustly. My son is not without fault in the situation, but, we feel that he is being unjustly kept behind bars. First, he thought, and has a letter, proving the fact that his probation should have been finished and according to his parole officer, it was not so he had his second parole violation because he didn’t go to see his PO which should have been a four month incarceration stay if convicted. He had his hearing with the judge Charles Jones on November 1, and they threw the book at him giving him six months instead of 4. they also talked about house arrest, which that wasn’t given to him , they also mentioned that he has a drug issue so he asked for help in that issue and he was denied. When he did go and turned himself into his PO he said to his PO, Sidney Haro, that he could be hot. He also requested a piss test twice and she denied him . So they’re keeping him without proof of drugs. We have 2 wks left to appeal
